The historic town centre, dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, is complemented by two Benedictine abbeys: Sainte Anne de Kergonan Abbey and Saint Michel de Kergonan Abbey. These two beautiful spiritual buildings face the ocean and are still a place of prayer for many monks. Away from the town centre, you can also see megalithic sites like those at Carnac.
