Eurocat Carnac 2025: the big event for catamaran enthusiasts

Every year, on the first weekend in May, Carnac becomes the capital of sport catamarans with the Eurocat. This not-to-be-missed event, organised by the Carnac Yacht Club, attracts crews from all over France and abroad.
For several days, the participants challenge each other on different courses, offering a real spectacle on the water. Whether you're a sailing enthusiast or just curious, the Eurocat is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of catamarans: a fast, spectacular sport accessible to all.
The atmosphere is convivial, punctuated by the regattas and the famous Grand Raid around the island of Houat, the highlight of the competition.

Family visits to the Alignements de Carnac: follow in the footsteps of the builders

Teignouse Cup 2025 in Quiberon: a meeting place for surfing enthusiasts
From 8 to 10 May 2025 - Quiberon
In May, Quiberon comes alive with the Teignouse Cup, a not-to-be-missed national regatta for sailing and thrill-seekers. Organised by the Association Sportive Nautique de Quiberon (A.S.N Quiberon), this event brings together skiffs, foiling dinghies and classic boats for a series of spectacular races.
The competitions take place in an exceptional setting, at the foot of the famous Teignouse lighthouse, at the entrance to the magnificent Bay of Quiberon. The Teignouse Cup is an event not to be missed, whether you're a competitor or just a spectator.

Tour de Belle-Île 2025: the great nautical challenge accessible to all
From 9 to 11 May 2025 - La Trinité-sur-Mer
Every year in mid-May, La Trinité-sur-Mer plays host to one of the largest gatherings of sailing boats in France: the Tour de Belle-Île. More than 400 boats of all sizes take to the start line, bringing together amateur sailors and professional skippers in a challenge as simple as it is spectacular: to sail around Belle-Île as quickly as possible.
There are two routes to choose from, depending on the boat:
The Grand Tourreserved for sailing boats crossing the rear of the island.
Le P'tit TourFor smaller formats, it runs along the inland coast.
Open to all, the Tour de Belle-Île is a friendly, festive regatta, where competition meets a spirit of sharing. For three days, the event village comes alive with a host of festivities, offering an impressive spectacle to be experienced from the shore or from an accompanying boat.

Semaine du Golfe 2025: experience the great festival of traditional sailing
From 26 May to 1 June 2025 - Golfe du Morbihan
Every two years, at the end of spring, the Gulf of Morbihan becomes the stage for an exceptional maritime event: the Semaine du Golfe. For one week, more than 1,000 traditional and regional boats, divided into 10 distinct and easily recognisable flotillas, come together to sail one of Brittany's most beautiful natural sites.
The highlight of this celebration, the Grande Parade marks the apotheosis of the event: all the flotillas, accompanied by the majestic tall ships, converge from the Bay of Quiberon to the heart of the Gulf for a spectacular and unforgettable sail.
As well as the regattas, the Semaine du Golfe is also punctuated by festive stopovers, concerts and a host of events, offering a friendly, magical and deeply authentic atmosphere. A not-to-be-missed event for lovers of the sea and maritime heritage!
