Carnac's Grande Plage

With its two kilometres of sand, Carnac's Grande Plage is the most popular of the town's five beaches. Facing due south and awarded the Blue FlagIt is close to shops and restaurants. During the summer months, two holiday clubs are based here, offering a wide range of activities for children. Swimming is supervised and the beach is accessible to people with motor disabilities thanks to ramps and other adapted equipment.

The Beach of Légenèse

Popular with families, Légenèse Beach is located to the west of Carnac. More modest, it is sheltered from the wind and offers a more confidential but just as pleasant place. Thanks to the installation of the Marsouins club in the summer, children can enjoy sports activities. Adults can relax on the fine sand or in the water.

Ty Bihan Beach

Between the beaches of Légenèse and Saint-Colomban, Ty Bihan Beach offers an ideal view over Quiberon Bay. Facing due south, it stretches for around 400 metres. Although bathing is not supervised in summer, it is nevertheless popular with holidaymakers. Every summer, the Dauphins club comes to the beach to organise group games for children.

The beach at Saint-Colomban

The furthest west of Carnac, Saint-Colomban Beach attracts swimmers and board sports enthusiasts alike. All year round it offers windsurfing activities. Nestling in Quiberon Bay and far from other beaches, its 500-metre length offers greater tranquillity. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, and bathing is supervised during the summer months.

Beaumer Beach

On a camping holiday, it's great to visit Beaumer Beach for fishing on foot. With a bucket and a landing net, you can collect clams, cockles, razor clams and periwinkles. Bordering the Men Du beach in the commune of la Trinité-sur-MerIt's a great place for sunbathing, swimming and collecting shellfish.

Carnac's beaches are great for all kinds of activities, but you could also be tempted by the coastline of the Gulf of Morbihan. These include a large number of beaches, all of which are part of the region's wealth.
